Millie, Matt & Bohdi Hurricane Fund

Along with many Houston families, some of our own family members, Millie, Matt and Bohdi Rhind have been evacuated and rescued from the Harvey storm waters. The three left with only their backpacks and each other by boat. Fortunately, perfect strangers opened their home for a warm meal, clean clothes and beds for all three. They remain at the home of this generous family until the damage to their home, belongings and vehicle can be assessed and provisions made.

The Rhind family moved from Oklahoma to Houston, just two weeks ago and were still getting settled in. They have no biological family in the U.S.

 I've had a few questions on how people can assist Millie and her family. I've thought of gift cards and supplies however we are far away and the snail mail currently can't deliver. We need the quickest, electronic way to show our support.

Please consider a monetary donation of any denomination. As an Oklahoman, we are familiar with the devastation of natural disasters and what it can take for a family to get back on their feet after such a setback.

The upcoming days will be tiresome and bring many costs. Any support you are able to offer would be humbly appreciated by the Rhind's.

Millie and Matt are some of the sweetest people I know.
