Millicent Ashby Gentry Funeral

Millicent Ashby Gentry died suddenly on July 28, 2014 of Leptomeningial Carcinoma, a rare complication of her 16-month battle with Triple-Negative Breast Cancer. She was 27 and left behind her husband, Joshua, and a loving family. They all dedicated their time and resources into helping Millicent fight her battle.
Millicent had a zest for life and a love for people that was reflected in all that she did. She served an 18-month LDS mission to Germany, and upon her return was a full time student at CSU Stanislaus. Despite the rigors of chemotherapy and radiation treatments, she was able to graduate this past May with her BA in English.
We will miss her smile and her loving heart. Her example of fearlessness and hope will live on in us all, and we hope to honor her memory.
