Ministering to Brethren in Africa
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Dr. Victor Brooks. Recently, a brother in our assembly here in Central Florida, USA referred one of his Facebook contacts (a pastor in Kenya), to me with a request to receive my teaching powerpoints.
What happened next was a discussion on ways to extend a Widows Support Program, at one of an association of 8 assemblies, in which widows were given chickens and goats to rear and also some foodstuffs to assist their needs in this difficult time of COVID and also to finance their gardens by giving them quality seeds to grow crops. Praise the Lord, the project for the goats for the Widows has been accomplished!
Our next project was for Bibles for the 8 assemblies to feed the Word of God. Because of the poverty in their region, they were unable to purchase their own bible in their particular regional dialect. 2 years ago we were able to provide Bibles to Pastor Joash who distributed them. However, a surge in attendance and fellowship of these assemblies has caused the need for more Bibles. What a blessing that is to hear of more believers and more Bibles needed and delivered!
One of our current missions is to help a special school in Sindo, South Africa to provide food for the children of the widows. The crops planted in February were washed away with the rain, and farms were badly damaged. With only one planting season in the area, there is a long period of time where there will be no food for these children.
I would like to thank you for your donation, any amount is welcomed, and would greatly assist these Churches.
