Mike Sixonate Studio Album

I have been a musician for my whole life. I have travelled the country several times playing my original music and have made a very modest living from writing and performing. I have been given an opportunity to record a full length album (through MusicNL) but my finances are not allowing me to see it through to its full potential.

Music NL has Graciously provided me with a modest amount of money to get this album started, I need you to make this goal a reality.

The Time has come where I need some help reaching my goal. I have recently come off of a 108 show stretch in Twillingate Newfoundland. I had an opportunity to play for thousands and thousands of people from literally all over the world. All of those wonderful people asked me where they could find my album, I unfortunaly had to let them know that I do not yet have an album for sale.

The music and stories that I write are authentic and focus mainly on life in Newfoundland and Labrador. The emotion woven into the tunes is something that has translated with people from all different countries and walks of life.

I have been approached by CBC radio as well as other platforms to get my music in rotation, but again, I do not have anything that is radio quality available for the public.

The longer I wait to release something official the lower my chances are of creating and maintaining a career in the music industry.

I am hoping that you will help me make this dream a reality. 

The money raised will be used for the following;

1. Hiring and paying studio musicians to play instruments that I can not

2. Desiging and creating album art (this will trickle down to help another local artist)

3. Mastering the recordings and getting them ready for Radio and Film

4. Duplication of the finished product and distribution to music carriors nationally

5. Creating and launching a PR campaign to promote the album and music to other markets nationally and internationally.

I can not complete this project without help from kind folks like yourself. I Know that there are lots of fundraisers out there for all kinds of causes. I hope that this is one that you deem worthy of a little bit of help.

This album will be a gateway to greater things, I just dont have the means to do it on my own (as hard as that is to admit)

I will continue to plan, promote, and play free shows in the 2018 season. With this album I can become export ready and start to take over the world MWAHAHAHA ;)
