Mike Stephens' Medical Expenses
Cancer sucks. It's evil and cruel. We hate it. I think it's safe to say it has affected everyone's life in some way.
Our good friend Mike Stephens was diagnosed with it last summer. I'm not going to share any details (see above - cancer sucks). The good news is Mike's chemo treatments are working but, as you can imagine, he is experiencing financial stress. He has depleted his savings and, although he's a hard worker and makes a decent income (when he can work), that's proved to be challenging over the past several months. And no health insurance. As of December 2017, Mike is in debt $8,000, and the costs for his chemo treatments continue to mount ($2,000/month).
Anyone who knows Mike, knows that he has always been over-the-top generous and would give the shirt off his back to man or beast - no questions asked. He really needs our support.
Please help out our good friend, if you're able. Give a little, give a lot, give what you can. Any amount is appreciated.
And then there’s this. If you donate $50 or more, I will email you an MP3 of a song that’s just been produced, mixed and mastered – the poetry of Mike Stephens set to music by me. Here’s a video teaser of that (Look At This Light) featuring some sweet photos of Mike: https://youtu.be/fAFBXbMMpK0
Thank you so much everyone.
