A new adventure began in Mike and René's lives on October 8th, when the Doctor told them that Mike had Lymphoma – a cancer of the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's germ-fighting network.
The way Mike described the adventure from his Doctor was like this: "Mike, you're going into the boxing ring for six chemotherapy sessions of 28 days each, and there will be NO timeouts, NO breaks, and you're in this for ALL six rounds... Are you ready, Mike!?"
As friends and family of Mike and René, we would like to come alongside and share the financial impact. We have set up a Go Fund Me to support the $23,000 for the out-of-pocket and ongoing medical costs anticipated by their Physicians for Mike's comprehensive treatment plan.
We know our heavenly Father has the Thomfordes covered and that He is in control. We are grateful for God's love and healing power. We look forward to giving Him glory as we join the fight with the Thomforde family as they go through this new journey.
