Michael Gould Memorial Scholarship Fund

In memory of Mike, for the past 12 years, we've awarded scholarships to graduating seniors at Algonquin Regional High School, where he attended and graduated from. The students are asked to write an essay on overcoming adversity in a healthy manner. These adversities range from loss, physical ailment or challenges, abuse (physical, emotional, drugs or alcohol) to bullying and much more. These young adults, while all different, have something in common: they don't use their adversity as an excuse and have all grown stronger because of it. Their attitudes are incredible and exemplary to all who are privileged enough to know their heart wrenching stories. I call them unsung heroes. We'd greatly appreciate your help & support in continuing to reward these unsung heroes each year as they work towards a brighter future for themselves.
