We adopted Mika in 2014 at the estimated age of 2 years old. She was heartworm positive at the time but receiving treatment through her rescue and has since made a full recovery in that regard.
She is a sweet and loving family dog who loves to run and play with her younger puppy brother and human baby. Sadly, that has all been put on hold due to a fully torn ACL in one of her hind legs.
She has always received the best in care and our goal is that this time will be no different.
Unfortunately, the quote we received is between $5-6,000 not including post op care. This would mean putting her surgery on a long term hold until we can save up for this to happen.
We hope to get her the surgery she needs as soon as possible so she can go back to being the playful girl she has always been and live out her remaining years as comfortable and pain free as possible.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to consider donating to Mika’s surgery and recovery.
