Bringing Michelle's father home

Hi everyone. Thank you for taking the time to check out this GoFundme. So just to give some background behind this story. Michelle's  biological father, Ronald aka Ronnie, had some tough decisions to make early in Michelles childhood. One of those decisions was giving up his rights on Michelle so she could have a better life than he could provide at the time. After that it was very hard for him to contact her and he lost touch with her. Years and years went by with Michelle wondering about her father and where he was. She was told different things and never really knew where he was. She finally learned that her father was homeless and was living in California. So Michelle being the person she is continued her search, she talked with countless shelters and different missions. Only to end up empty handed. Last year she received some info that someone thinks they know her dad. She leaves her number and then the call she was waiting for. She finally found him. He was filled with regret but told her he never stopped loving her. They talked again this last Christmas when he called her on her birthday, and again the day after Christmas. Then they lost touch. She tried reaching out again but nothing. The months passed. Until recently when Michelle started to look again. But this time she found an obituary that he had passed in May. We werent sure if it was him so she called and it all matched up. She asked by any chance do you have any of his belongings even though it has been 5 months. She said No he was cremated with his belongings because no one had claimed him. She said she would check to be sure, and came back stunned almost. She tells Michelle, I dont know how or why but we still have his ashes here with us. She says they were supposed to be sent off to be buried in an unmarked grave, but never did for some reason. So that brings us here, I honestly wish we didnt have to put this up but we could use a little help with cremation costs and state costs, so we can bring his ashes home. Where he can rest in peace knowing Michelle never gave up. And Michelle can have a peace of mind knowing her Dad is somewhere where he cant be forgotten. Thanks everyone.
