Michelle's Breast Cancer Journey

   I started a gofundme page for michelle because she was recently diagnosed with STAGE 3 infiltrating ductal carcinoma breast cancer that is VERY aggressive and FAST growing in her right breast. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy and will eventually get a double mastectomy and more chemotherapy /radiation after her surgery in order to have more of a likelihood of CURE. We are asking for help, from anyone who would like to. We as her family are doing everything we can to help michelle but we honestly can only do so much because we struggle ourselves with money. Michelle had to stop working because the cancer and chemo makes her too ill to be able to function for her job. She was put on a personal leave because she didnt qualify for a medical leave due to not being employed long enough in there eyes to approve her for it. She most recently was let go from her job because her personal leave has ended and they will not approve her for any other leaves because she hasnt met the requirements of working there long enough. There was no warning of this!!!! What that means now is absolutely no income and lots and lots of bill's that are going to be piling up. Her most recent bill for the hospital was 18,000 dollars and that's after insurance covered there share. I would love to try and help relieve the burden she feels because of her extreme medical expenses that insurance will not cover as well as give her some money to get her basic needs met. Disability has quickly denied her and has asked for a long list of proof dating back to the 80s and 90s for documentation that she no longer has. We are trying to obtain those documents but it is a long process. We will not give up. If anyone would like to help michelle 100% of your donation goes to her for anything she may need during this hard time in her life. Co- pays,costs for medications to keep her comfortable through this agonizing process, medical bills. Basic daily needs and necessities. Michelle is very grateful for everyone's love and support. She truly is an amazing one of a kind woman. I met michelle 5 years ago when I met her son. Since then she has become my best friend and a second mom to me. I would do anything for her. I feel honored to know her and have her be my daughters grandma. She is a very bright light in a dark room. Always puts others before herself no matter what. She cares for and helps anyone in need. She is so selfless and has the most loving spirit. Although her life is hell on earth right now she still finds some way to smile and finds humor in everything. The nurses light up when she enters the room to start her chemo treatment, she is definitely one of there favorites and for good reason. I've never seen someone so positive in such a awful situation but she is. So many gravitate to her positive energy and attitude. She would give anyone her last dollar without thinking twice about it. She helps even when its outside her means. Please help michelle if you can in her time of need. She deserves to finally have some good karma come her way. And receive help after so many years of giving to others. Thank you everyone for everything. We truly appreciate you!
