Help Michaela get hearing aids!

Michaela needs our help! She is dire need of new hearing aids to the tune of $6,000+. If she doesn't get these VERY SOON she will completely lose her hearing in the next 10 years. COMPLETELY. Michaela's story in her own words:

I've been dealing with hearing loss for over 10 years, had surgery to try and fix it, but alas had to go with hearing aids 3 years ago. $4,000 and health insurance does not cover any hearing devices. It was absolutely amazing to hear sounds again I hadn't heard in years; snow crunching underfoot, the refrigerator humming, whispers, etc. In the past year I have noticed I am saying what more and hearing different words than people are saying (sometimes that can be really funny). And attending anything with a crowd or in a restaurant is totally overwhelming.
Today I had my hearing tested again. It is worse. I now have over 50% hearing loss (at 44yrs old, my hearing is that of at least a 70yr old). Wearing the current hearing aids I have is similar to wearing the wrong prescription glasses - it may be helpful but ultimately they are not doing the work they should be. They are not stimulating my auditory hairs which do the work. When these hairs are not stimulated, they die eventually causing complete hearing loss.
Bottom line given to me today is, within 10 years, if I don't upgrade, I will be 100% deaf and need to learn sign language. If I purchase the hearing aids and continue to upgrade over the years, my hearing loss will not progress like it has. I have health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance but guess what, there isn't any hearing insurance and it is not covered by any health insurance on the market.
The hearing aids are $7100 for 2, on sale for the next couple days for $6100. I don't know about any of you, but we live paycheck to paycheck and have no savings.
