Michaela's Miracle

Michaela has been diagnosed with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, chronic daily migraine and most recently, akathisia. This is not who she is, this is the darkness that has swallowed our Michaela. Our joy filled, imaginative, energetic, lover of Jesus .
Over the past 2 years, Shea has been seen by; numerous general practitioners, psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, chiropractors, accupuncturists, counselors, and other specialists. She has submitted herself to the medical community, and has received a list of perscription medications too long to remember or pronounce. Inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient support groups, all of which have offered little to no relief.
Recently, the song Take Courage from Bethel, has given her a new hope and courage to continue fighting.
"Take courage my heart, stay steadfast my soul.
He's in the waiting.
Hold onto your hope, as your triumph unfolds.
He's NEVER failing, He's Never Failing."

The song, Take Courage from Bethel has inspired me to reach out from this dark place I find myself, to claim that the valley is deep but it has NOT overcome!
To the army who has stood by me this past year, bless you!
On Monday (0918) I leave for inpatient treatment because my fight is NOT over, my roar is only getting louder as Christ proves faithful time after time.
September is national suicide awareness month and I am sharing this because I have battled with thoughts of suicide for many months. We can and WILL overcome.
Mental illness is REAL and scary and valid but not bigger than our God. May the blood of Christ pour over my unfolding testimony because I fight in the name of Jesus who is never failing so that later I may share of His great faithfulness.
If YOU are in the valley, you are not alone, you can be heard and helped. Blessing to my army and tribe. I will be back in a few months with a roar that will never go unheard! We will overcome!
Through this GoFundMe page, Our goal is to invite our family, and friends - the community of Christ, an opportunity to be a part of a Miracle for Michaela. Michaela's unfolding testimony is and will be a powerful proclamation of God's faithfulness and miraculous healing. Those that are able to contribute financially, your gift will pay for the medical, psychological, and spiritual care over the next 2-3 months.
In addition her family; Dan (best husband and awesome dad), Gavin and Grace (best kids/grandkids ever) need our help & support. As Michaela is away from her family, it's been suggested that, a nanny would be the most practical and benificial support we could bring them. Something we know Michaela would be relieved and comforted by, knowing that her family is being well taken care of.
You are the Army which Michaela refers to. An Army with power beyond what we can see and resources to bless.
