Michael David's medical fund

This is my son Michael David. In early May of this year he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. He was told he had 3-5 months to live and basically sent home to die. Mike is only 44 years old. He is much to young to die!  A while back he quit smoking, eating red meat and drinking. He said he wanted to be healthy. He wanted his grandchildren to remember him because he does not remember his own grandfather. His grandfather died of colon cancer at the age of 50. Michael was just a baby.  A friend talked to Mike about the Cancer Treatment Center Of America. After doing some research and soul searching he called them. They immediatly flew Mike and his mom to Chicago. After a lot of tests they confirmed it was dire but with immediate and aggressive chemotherapy and radiation he would be with us for christmas. They started treatment the next day. They want him to have treatment every two weeks and he is responding. Mike lives in Michigan.  The drive,the hotel room and food etc.. are getting expensive. This is only the start of his journey. Any help that we can get for him would be appreciated more than anyone can know. Please help us now!  He is a son, brother, father, and grandfather.  Most of all he is very much loved and we as a family are not ready to lose him!
