Our son was diagnosed 4 1/2 years ago as a T1D, now recently been diagnosed ADD. (Attention Deficit Disorder)
It's extremely costly to keep his medication up which is ongoing, plus the cost of everyday living.
Mikey is 13 years old and loves life, tries to live life to the fullest but he is super scared of dying. :-(
Sadly diabetes is listed as 1 of the top 5 most expensive conditions to have in the world. There is NO CURE for T1D and this is NOT a life style choice.
