A Miracle for Micah

For many people it is very hard to ask for help and especially hard to ask for money, but for my Daughter and Son in law, I felt very obligated in behalf of their sweet family and my 4 little grandsons to help out in this very difficult time in their life in any way I can.
My Son in law was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma (aka throat cancer) whom is a non smoker/non drinker but somehow got throat cancer in the fall of 2011. He underwent a cycle of radiation and chemo treatment. He recovered and was cancer free for 8 months. After a routine scan last fall, the cancer returned but had spread down to his liver and lymph system. Not wanting to revisit the awful chemo treatment again that almost took his life before, Micah (son in law) decided to control his cancer with his diet and lifestyle, which helped for awhile, but his most recent scan showed an aggressive growth of the cancer. At this point, his doctors want to start another round of aggressive chemo. And even with the treatment they have given him 7 - 22 months to live at best. Without objection of his oncologist (cancer doctor), Micah has researched and found an alternative approach that he believes will fight this cancer without all of the negative side effects that come with traditional treatment. Unfortunately, as with most treatment that is not mainstream, it is very expensive out of pocket and insurance won't cover it, and in order for him to start the program/treatment it will cost his family $17,000.
I know it's a lot of money but every penny could possibly help them get the help he desperately needs. My heart and there hearts would be so grateful.
