Together we can create a safe, supportive, local and legal place for kids to skate, scooter and shoot hoops.

Here's the scoop...

We received unanimous approval from the San Anselmo Town Council to proceed with a plan to revitalize the existing basketball court at Memorial Park, turning it into a joint use skate and basketball park.

With skateboarding growing in popularity  and a lack of infrastructure to support it, we found it critical to come up with a solution now while our kids are still young.

We are $15,000 away from reaching our $42,000 goal, and with your help we could reach this mark before mid-Summer!

Your generous donation will help pay for the repaving of the area and installation of all professionally-built skate park components which includes: a half pipe, double quarter pipes, skate platform, grinding boxes and rails.

We will  purchase and install brand new hoops/backboards and fund the painting/striping of the court.  Plus, a small amount  will be set aside for general maintenance and ongoing inspection.

With the improved space, we will be able to provide year-round skate accessibility for local kids, and the San Anselmo Park and Recreation Department will be able to offer a host of classes, workshops and summer camps.

Who knows, maybe you'll host your child's next birthday party at the newly renovated park.
