Support Melissa's Stage IV Battle

Melissa Tang is a beautiful, courageous, young woman who was originally diagnosed with Triple Negative breast cancer at age 25 in August of 2015. After surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, she went on to open Hope 25 a boutique filled with inspirational clothing and items to help other young women face cancer with strength, courage and hope. With her shop and her photography as well as your kind soul, she has inspired so many people around the world. Now she needs us more than ever.

Yesterday, she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. The cancer has returned and spread to her liver, brain and kidneys. Additional tests will reveal if it has also spread to her lungs.

We need to raise funds for Melissa and her husband Joe to pay for the avalanche of medical bills coming their way. Her and her doctors are planning next steps today, which will most likely include very expensive chemotherapy medication, surgery, and other expensive trial drugs. There is no cure for metastatic breast cancer so the treatment will be long term and thus very expensive, a large portion of which may not be covered by the health insurance. We want Melissa to have access to the best treatments available and not to be restricted in terms of her treatment options due to finances. Please help us make this happen for her.

Since Melissa is self-employed as the owner of Hope 25 and as a wedding photographer, she will not be able to continue work for the time being.  All donatations will help her and her husband pay their everyday bills and prepare for the multitude of medical expenses. Most importantly, these donations will allow them to focus on Melissa's health and healing.
