Help Meka Fight Cancer

Hi my name is Princetta Clark and my daughter was diagnose with Stage 0 cancer a few months ago. Her name is Temekia Hawkins and she's a hardworking single mother of 4, young, energetic and full of love, to know her is to love her. She's always looking for ways to make others smile even if it's just by giving a simple hug even through her situation and if she can she will always try to turn any negative to a positive.  She's very very strong but at this point in her life she now has realized that even the strong gets weak.

How she found out? She went in for a routine anual in June 2017 and was asked if she would like to get a mammogram done, which was optional but she said why not only to find out that the Drs. saw something so after her 2nd mammogram and a biospy we found out it was cancer. She then went on and had a Lumpectomy (Partial masectomy) she was out of work for 2 weeks and back up and running ready for radiation almost at the finish line she thought only to find out that after taking a genetics test that her test came back positive for a genetic mutation in her blood (ATM MUTATION) which causes the risk of breast cancer and pancreatic cancer (A NEW BOMB DROPPED) which now leads to her having to have a double masectomy (removing both breast with reconstruction) on October 19, 2017.  Now her new dilema is she started a new job a few months ago and she has no sick, vacation nor short or long term disabilty and has to be out of work for a bit give or take as far as she knows right now but she won't have any income coming in and still has a family, household bills and medical co-pays that don't ever stop. 

She will be forever grateful for our family and friends who are praying for her, offering help with everything, and who are fighting this monster alongside us. Meka is touched by the outpouring of love and care. We will never be able to adequately express how much it means to have your support. We are blessed abundantly and love you all with all our hearts.
