Chiropractic Volunteer Trip

Hello and thank you for visiting my gofundme page! Most of you know that one of my greatest passions in life is to help people and empower them to achieve greatness in health and wellbeing! This is what firstly lead me to become a chiropractor. Now in my final three months of my education, I have been blessed with the opportunity to continue my philanthropic journey on a Chiropractic Outreach to the Dominican Republic.
Every year my school, Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), sends 12 hand-picked chiropractic interns to work under 2 experienced supervising chiropractors to provide FREE care to residents in rural villages surrounding Moca, Dominican Republic. This year we will be there from April 3-14. Each of the 11 days spend around Moca, we will be diagnosing and treating patients who have limited to no access to primary health care. We will work 10-12 hour days treating as many patients as we are able. In the past, there have been line-ups of people for hours waiting to receive care.
My goal is to raise $1500 towards the cause, and with your donation I believe it is possible! Funds will go to support supplies we may need such as: scrubs, topical pain ointments, diagnostic equipment, ice packs, rehabilitation equipment such as exercise bands, slings, primary first aid equipment and the list goes on! Each student also provides a donation to support the local infastructure in the Dominican, so that health care centers can be built and updated and residents can be educated in health care fields. The goal is to empower and support the country to create a sustainable health care system.
