The meet-up is on the 26th April, in London! Venue to be confirmed...
Because over 700 of you have RSVPd, we've realised that it would be unsafe for us to hold this in a park or open space somewhere, which was the original plan.
We've decided, therefore, that the safest place to hold this event is in a venue. We've been researching this option and have found a few venues that are big enough! However, as you can imagine, hiring a venue isn't cheap. Some of the prices we've seen are outrageous (Eventim Theatre, we're looking at you. £26,000?! That could buy us each a new set of eyeballs, you slave drivers).
We're opting for the cheapest we possibly can, without sinking so low that you'd all get STDs if you sat on the seats. We'd be paying for this off our own backs, but as you can all imagine, it's fairly difficult to find several thousand pounds in our dwindling bank accounts.
Because we really want to meet every single one of you, we may have to charge a small fee for each ticket, simply because we wouldn't be able to afford any kind of venue otherwise.
However, before charging per ticket, we'd like to ask that if you are able to, any small donations would be incredibly helpful, and this way, we can decrease the cost per ticket.
We don't have managers, we don't have agents, we're putting on this entire event by ourselves. The only reason we're doing this is so we can meet YOU!
