Medical Mission: Haiti 2018

Hi there! I am so exicted to share that I have purchased my ticket and will be heading off to Haiti at the start of next year! I will be going with an extraordinary non-profit organization, Connecting Hope and Medicine to People in Haiti (CHAMPS).
Last year, four of my coworkers went to Haiti to provide the people there with medical care. I am so excited to have the opportunity to join them on their next trip!
Last year the team spent 5 days opening pop-up clinics in rural villages utilizing their local buildings & adjusting them to meet needs as best as possible. They were graciously welcomed into schools, churches and even the homes of those who were too unwell to make the trek to the clinics.
The team was able to provide care to a total of 1,526 patients collectively between all of the medical teams, and a remarkable 517 patients on the final day!
I would greatly appeciate prayers! Prayers for the people of Haiti, the medical teams traveling there, and the care that will be given. I pray for healing and that we will be able to impact many.
We will provide primary care which includes medications, wound care, dental care, baby formula, IV infusions, and other treatments that may be necessary. Donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible and will help cover the cost of medical supplies.❤️
