<div>We’re helping fund a short isolation convalescence for a lifelong community builder, activist and social change artist who:

<li>gave up all she had to get herself out of violence
</li>
<li>held her compassion and integrity intact through poverty, systemic abuses &amp; a long recovery from her injuries
</li>
<li>survived violence, bullying, withholding food, environmental illness caused by mold, fungus, cockroaches, mice, smokes and industrial chemicals, plus other mistreatment, in the shelter system, including being refused shelter openings on a variety of illegal grounds, including  the facility not been maintaining its elevators and washrooms to be accessible, not retaining an Isolation Room for those who are sick, and because her disabilities will not allow her to perform janitorial duties for the shelter agency
</li>
<li>uses her skills, education &amp; lived experience to help others every chance she gets
</li>
<li>is set to resume post-secondary studies that will allow her to return to part-time advocacy and counselling serving other Survivors and pwDisabilities (this month!)
</li>
<li>amazingly shows up for all this while diagnosed with ME/CFS, MCAS, Ehlers Danlos &amp; Dysautonomia made more severe by Long COVID
</li>

<div><strong>But she’s gotten hit with this #%$@! virus again and needs support to keep her isolated in a clean, secure hotel</strong> while Paxlovid and Chicken Soup work their magic, and her disability and education benefits finish processing.
