Helping the McMahan Clan

As I write this, it breaks my heart to pieces, as I am sure it has to most who have heard the tragic news. It seems the good ones always go too soon. The McMahan family lost a beloved father, grandfather, husband, and best friend and the world lost a great man.

Anyone who met John or Porky or Papa or whatever you knew him as knew he had a heart of gold, it radiated in the eyes of his beautiful family. I've actually never met a family quite like his before, they are the epitome of what you would imagine when you think of love, selflessness, and compassion. He was the best father and grandfather, always there for his family, putting in the time to ensure they had what they needed to be successful. And he sure did succeed! His children are all blessings to the people that have met them and have the pleasure of having them in their lives. 

He married his beautiful wife Brownie when they were just young kids and have spent their lives showing people how true love is lived out. It was easy to see why their house was the spot to congregate at when we were all growing up. It was a place filled with love and support and laughter. No matter how many of us there were, their arms and hearts were always open to us. 

If there was ever a family strong enough to get through something as unexpected and heartwrenching as this, it is the McMahan family, but a little extra love never hurt anyone. Please assist this incredible family with giving this wonderful man the burial and services he deserves. Any little bit helps.
