Once in a Lifetime Opportunity!

I am a freshman  at Westlake High School in Austin, TX. One of my many passions is acting; I love the challenge of taking on a role and the rush of being on stage. The whole experience of being in a play is like being a part of a big, happy family. I had the time of my life when I played the lead roles in my 8th and 9th grade productions, and I want to keep doing this forever! 

Peter Sklar, a well known talent scout and producer (who discovered Sarah Jessica Parker and Reese Witherspoon!!), visited my high school in January. He interviewed several of us, and I was one of the few who was selected to attend one of his acting workshops in either New York or London. I have been walking on air ever since I found out about this!  Attending either one would be an amazing , life changing opportunity. 

It will cost $2800 for me to go, and I need to raise the money on my own to make it happen. I’m going to contribute what I make at my part time job, but I only get to work one night a week, and that’s not going to be nearly enough to cover the whole amount. I hope this GoFund me page will make this dream come true for me. I will be so grateful for any support I receive, and if this actually happens, I will never forget how you helped make it possible!
