Matthew Cleary's Cancer Fund

My name is Martine Kyle.  My family and I want to raise money for my 27 year old brother, Matthew Cleary.  He was diagnosed with  stage 2 lung cancer last month. 
Matthew has insurance but he hasn't been well enough to go to work.  His first treatment was March 31, 2016. It hit him hard the very same day.  He was weak and vomiting right off the bat.  He's had some good days in between but he is struggling to feel good.  He hasn't been able to sleep, his appetite is gone and he has been vomiting and coughing up blood.  His doctor told him it was to be expected.  I am worried about him becoming dehydrated and weak.  If he is dehydrated then he may not be able to receive treatment or the treatments may be postponed. We don't want any delays in this treatment plan . We are trying to help him keep up with his expenses. We will use the money raised to pay for his co pays, medicine ( his anti nausea melds were $270 with insurance refills will cost the same),  groceries (mostly coconut water and nutrition shakes), gas to get to around and to pay for his living expenses. 
This means so much to me (and my family) because Matthew has worked very hard to reach this point in his life.  He was living independly and making ends meet until this situation changed everything.  He  is celebrating 18 months of sobriety.  He dedicates himself to helping others get sober and attends meetings to strengthen his resolve.  This diagnosis is a devastating blow to Matthew and our family but we remain positive. He needs  to have chemotherapy each month and do his best to stay "healthy".  It's a difficult task to say the least. His spirits are mostly good but he stresses everyday because he isn't well enough to earn the money needed to make ends meet without help.

We should only need help to cover these expenses for the next 5 months/ treatments.  At that point, he should be cancer free and ready to get back to work.
