Matt's Bicycle Hit and Run

On Wednesday July 24th Matt was riding his bicycle home from work when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. At this time, the identity of the driver has not been uncovered. News Coverage of the accident.
Matt says "I remember leaving work on my bike as always, then the next thing I can recall is being in the hospital."
The accident left him with a concussion and a severely broken left leg. Doctors placed a rod and several screws in the broken leg Thursday morning and as of Sunday Matt is finally home.
It will be several weeks before he is able to put any weight on that leg and he has been told to expect 3 months of recovery before he will be released to return to unrestricted activity.
The funds raised by this GoFundMe are going to be used to help with the medical costs from the surgery and the recovery therapy, as well as to help with daily expenses while Matt is unable to work.
I, Carey, set this campaign up and have helped with some of the solicitation of donations and a little of the coordination of other efforts just to help take some of the load off of Matt and his girlfriend Emma. She is listed as the beneficiary on this campaign so that we don't have to bother Matt with stuff like setting up transfers and posting updates while he recovers.
