An amazing family needs our help!
The Scott family lost everything in a fire in their apartment building in Harlem on Thursday, August 17 (see article> Harlem fire.) Mary, the mother of 2 wonderful kids, Meagan and Matthew, and Mary's mother Esther are all safe, but are in need of assistance!
Mary and her mother, Esther, have resided at the apartment building for over 50 years. The Scott family is facing a devestating loss and will need to rebuild. With school starting soon, the need for your help is timely.
We are trying to raise at least $10,000 to help the Scott family, this will help with replacing the necessities that were lost (such as clothing and school supplies), as well as help with finding a new place to live. All the money raised will be given directly to Mary Scott.
