The Fight is On: Mary Puyau Hebert

Our sister, Mary Puyau Hebert,  is a wonderful wife, an amazing mother of 3 children, a loving daughter, a sweet sister, a spectacular fourth grade teacher and a woman with a  deep and reverent love for God.  She was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago at the age of forty-one.   Mary championed through the many rounds of chemo, surgeries and radiation only to have the cancer come back and spread to her backbone this past year.  This diagnosis means Mary is now living with Stage IV metastatic  breast cancer.  Even with recent scans all being clear, Mary's cancer tumor markers continue to rise.  With these numbers rising, her doctors know there is cancer present  in her body, but it has not grown enough to become aggressive or show up on normal imaging tests.

 Now is the time to FIGHT!  Now is the time for Mary to get innovative and cutting edge testing done to map the pathways in which her doctors can STOP this cancer from growing in its tracks.  Unfortunately, most of the testing and experimental treatments Mary needs are only partially covered, or are not covered at all by insurance.

We are asking you, our friends and family, (and even friends of friends, or people we may not even know) to please help us help Mary.  Help Mary continue to FIGHT!
