Message from Mary: Hello everyone, I have been dealing with advanced stage breast cancer for the past 3 years and it has affected my whole family physically, emotionally and financially. It took me a while to finally understand that "real strength is knowing when to ask for help."

I was diagnosed with stage 3A left breast cancer in May of 2011. Within days of the diagnosis I had a port placed and within hours of the port I had my first chemotherapy treatment . I had 16 rounds of chemotherapy followed by 5 surgeries & 32 rounds of radiation . I went into remission in March 2012 and was in remission until April 2013 when I was then diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer followed by multiple IV and oral chemo treatments (I lost count) which I am still fighting to this day.....

Message from Mary's family: All donations will go toward the cost of alternative medical treatment for Mary. Last month we almost lost her after an infection threatened her life and landed her in the hospital for 8 days. She is currently going through more rounds of intravenous chemo after an unsuccessful run with oral treatments and injections. Unfortunately, the tumor is now growing in her liver and the lining of her lungs. Mary has been married to her husband Cliff for 17 years, is a dedicated mother to 10 year old Faith, and a loving sister and daughter. We are looking forward to more birthdays and holidays together and truly appreciate your support.
