Anyone who knows our Mom knows of her kind heartedness and loving personality. She is a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and friend. She is always putting others before herself, and now is the time to do something to help her.
Last month, we recieved the devastating news that our Mom was diagnosed with anal cancer. This was definitely not the news we wanted to hear! As many of you know, she has fibromyalgia, which includes chronic muscular and nerve pain. Unfortunately, over the last 2 years this disease has worsened to the point that she is in bed most days, all day. Now she is faced with another battle on top of the fibromyalgia and needs to find the strength to complete the cancer treatments.
She will be starting her cancer treatments on July 18th (the day before her birthday). Her treatment will include 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy.
Since our Mom is unable to work and already has many medical bills, we don't want these bills to be a burden and just another reason for her and our Dad to have added stress. We are kindly asking for your help to make this tough road ahead just a little bit easier!
Anything you can contribute would be much appreciated. We are extremely fortunate to have such wonderful people like yourselves in our lives!
