Help the kindest woman I know start over! She has no clothes, shoes or anything someone who has worked for over 40 years should have :(
Something very devastating happened to my mother, Mary Catherine Shannon, in Murphy Creek in Aurora, Colorado. She moved to Texas this week and her POD was in her drive way waiting to be picked up. Her room mate made a Craigslist post advertising all of her stuff for free. We didn’t get to it until 4 hours after the posting because the police would not respond to our calls. Trying to get help from Texas was difficult. A very sweet neighbor went over there along with the police. They said it was horrible and told people to put things back. Material things can be replaced with money but there are things that can’t be replaced. My grandmothers diamond. She died when my mom was eight years old Her nursing school pin. Her dads onyx ring. My mother’s earrings I wore to my wedding. My military bear with my dog tags I wore in Iraq were found on the street . It was awful. I’m not sure how anyone could have the soul to do this to someone. My mother has been a RN for over 40 years and is the sweetest woman I know! Just last week she actually saved her room mates life from a heart attack. Anyone who knows my mother knows she didn’t deserve this. I’m making this because she has nothing now. She has to start over. She’s 64 years old and her whole life was in that POD. The room mate is on the run and there is a warrant out for his arrest.
