Mary Arntz is 34 years old. She is a wife and a mother to two amazing boys, ages 4 and 7. She is an RN case manager at a local hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Mary was recently diagnosed with invasive ductile carcinoma (breast cancer). She will begin 3-4 months of chemotherapy this week. After chemo, she will have to have a bilaternal mastectomy, followed by reconstructive surgery a few months later. She will continue taking supplemental chemotherapy for 5-10 years and begin hormone replacement medication.
Due to the upcoming medical expenses, including chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and reconstruction, as well as the time she and her husband will miss from work, I am sure her family would greatly appreciate any financial assistance that they can get! Any donation, no matter how big or small, will be very much appreciated!
