Martello and Taniya Harris Support Fund

On January 17, 2014, Norrell (1 yr. old; seated on fathers lap) and ZyAna (2 yrs. old; on the left) were killed and their 2 siblings Taniya (5 yrs. old, on the right) and Martello (8 yrs. old) were seriously wounded and recovering in the hospital. This tragedy occurred in Germantown, MD and was reported in the Washington Post and on CNN News. Their mother and another individual are charged with the murders and the wounding of these children. Martello and Taniya are blessed to have survived stab wounds to their chests and collapsed lungs. Through their own perseverance and intestinal fortitude they will soon be released from the hospital which is the greatest gift they could ever receive. In reality though, there are many needs, moving forward, that remain to be met. This is the opportunity that I will seize as a parent of three, and you can all do the same, to support these innocent children to get their lives back on the right track and a return to normalcy. It most likely will take years for them to understand what happened that tragic night and why there little brother and sister can't play with them any longer.
Your support is needed for the father and grandmother to help appropriately raise and provide for Taniya and Martello. Both kids face many challenges physically and mentally and your support will help them get through this horrific time in their lives. Please consider making a donation to these beautiful children. They are in need of clothes, toys, housing and help with expensive hospital bills for years to come.
