In order for Ella to finish high school in NOLA, this GoFundMe needs to happen!
The sudden death of a loved one is always earth shattering. We need the love and support of friends, family, and others who care. After the emotional turmoil subsides, a widow and her family are often left in a financial tough spot while they try to reclaim any sense of "normalcy." Fortunately for Marnie Carmichael Murphy and her 16-year old daughter Ella, they've got friends and family who are ready to provide any support they can. Being there for Marnie and Ella, we're hoping you'll join us and be able to help give them a little breathing room. Our goal is to enable Ella to finish high school in New Orleans in June 2019. Marnie's and Ella's world was rocked, not only emotionally but financially, and ripping Ella her from her school during the latter half of her junior year of high school would be an additional blow. Ella has established friendships, relationships and a meaningful support system at her current school, all of which are invaluable during this time of grief and uncertainty. Ella is a bright student with a great future ahead of her. She and Marnie have a lovely little apartment in NOLA, cats and a dog. To secure the apartment through Ella's graduation day and to provide time to clearly map the future, the rent is our focus. We have created this site with the goal of raising $30,000 to cover their rent for these next 18 months. Please help us do this for them!
