Marlene's Travel Fund

Our dear friend and colleague lost her father unexpectedly last week. I am hoping to raise enough money to pay for (or contribute significantly toward) her travel expenses so that she can be with her family again soon, whether it's over the holiday or later on. 

I know Marlene wishes she could visit home more often but finds the cost somewhat prohibitive. I imagine that being this far away from her family during the coming months will be particularly difficult, and I'm hoping we can all make it a little easier for her. 

Roundtrip flights from Charlotte to Lima range from $800 to $1700, depending on dates. I'm hoping we can raise $1000 or thereabouts, but any amount will help!
