Marisa is a 38 year old single mother of two beautiful girls. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in May 2012, and went through a series of treatments including chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. The cancer has spread, and as of today, November 13, 2013 she has been diagnosed with lung cancer, liver cancer, bone cancer, and a re-occurrence of breast cancer. Marisa lost her job a couple of weeks after her breast surgery in July 2013 due to the company closing their North American Based location leaving her with no insurance as of the end of August 2013. The stress of dealing with the disease is more than one person should have to endure, let alone being the single mother of two children and having no insurance with the uphill battle that she is facing.
