Marion Rose Harvey, passed away on October 8, 2014. Marion was one of the original founding members of the Gator Motorcycle Riders. She was on her way to dinner and was going to show off the new scooter she recently purchased to save money for fuel. Unfortunely, she never made it and was rear-ended by a driver that failed to brake while in traffic.
Those of you that knew her know she was the sweetest, caring, generous, most selfless person in the world. Those of you that didn't are just a little less fortunate to not have her touch your life in some capacity. She loved motorcycling and in the past 18 months, she rode 30,000 miles on her bike. She would drop everything for a ride to nowhere or anywhere.
Marion's Boyfriend, Paul Herbert Johnson, said, "I guess at this point I can just be thankful to have her while I did. She was beautiful, funny, witty, loyal, smart, grounded, wise, rational and took such amazing care of me. The last 2.5 years of my life have been the best because I had finally met a woman that accepted me for me and embraced all my flaws and quirks, never once being judgmental. She was confident enough in herself and let me be a dude without ever hassling me for it. You could take her anywhere and she would be happy. It was the easiest relationship ever because she was just so easy to get along with and so much fun to be around. She loved her kids and animals so much and gave 138% to anyone and everyone she cared about. I love her and miss her deeply."
Marion had four children, Heather, Kaitlin, JJ, and Bret.
Marion did not have a lot of money and the family is struggling to meet the financial burden of the funeral. This GoFundMe account will be used to cover the cost of the catering at the service and a memorial road sign program for Marion.
