MariLynn and Ian Moore

After 14 years of infertility, Brent and MariLynn Moore got great news!!!  They were pregnant!  At 6 months of pregnancy, MariLynn contracted double pneumonia and was taken to the hospital.  The pneumonia caused MariLynn's lungs to stop working.  She was placed into a drug-induced coma to allow her lungs a break to heal.  On 2/22/14, both MariLynn and Baby Ian went into distress.  Doctors made the decision to deliver Baby Ian into the world at 28 weeks gestation so that MariLynn's illness can be treated more agressively.Baby Ian was delivered and weighed 3 lbs. 3 ounces at birth and was 15 and 3/4 inches long.  He is doing well in the NICU.  It is expected he will be there until May.  MariLynn remains in a drug induced coma on a ventilator until her lungs can heal.  She is unaware that Ian has been born.  At the present time, the doctors are saying that she has a long road ahead of her.  Although Brent's insurance should be able to cover a lot of the expenses of extended hospital stays for both MariLynn and Baby Ian, there are other costs to consider.  Brent has taken some time off work to be at the hospital.  MariLynn is also not able to work.  So, there is some loss of income.  Add to that the expense of staying at the hospital a lot (food, gas for travel when Brent does get to go home) and anything that insurance doesn't cover and it starts to add up.We have been shocked by how many people know about them and have been praying for them.  On 2/22/14, they were prayed for by the Challenge Youth Conference in Gatlinburg, TN.  It was amazing to see 5000+ teens lift prayers to God on their behalf. We have started this gofundme to try to help Brent, MariLynn and Baby Ian until all are well again.  Thank you for kindness and support!Information and status updates on MariLynn and Ian can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/MariLynnIan
