Help make young patients smile!

My amazing students want to raise money to make care packages for the patients at Loma Linda Childrens Hospital.  We have a student who battled Leukemia that spent about a year and a half at the Childrens unit and wanted to create a community service project that would impact the children and remind them how much support they have.  As a prior patient she understood the importance of maintaing hope and strength through this unfortunate and difficult time.  We decided to raise money and make care packages that will bring a smile to each individual patient. With the money doanted I will purchase the items and the students will help organize and distribute them. Our class is extremely excited to have the opportunity to help make a difference in these patients lives.  This year we are focused on doing positive things for our community.

In each Care Package we want to include but not limited to the following items...
Draw-string Backpacks
Headphones
Ipods
Mini portable board games
Notebooks with personalized letter inside
Coloring Books
Colored Pencils
Crayons
Blankets
Beanies
Socks
Scarfs
Erasers
Pencils
Pens
Smencils
Bracelets
Mason Jars w/ straws
