Maia for Jr. Miss Jabberwock 2014

I am Maia-Gabrielle, and I am competing in the Junior Miss Jabberwock program sponsored by the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. This is a scholarship program that will culminate in the 2014 Jabberwock Cotillion Program on May 18, 2014. The year-long program provides participants various cultural, educational, service and social activities, as well as the opportunity to showcase their gifts and talents. The culminating Cotillion will celebrate our growth and development, as well as provide us with the opportunity to win a scholarship with your support and assistance. The theme is "Reflections of Radiance".

To provide a little background, I am a 5th grader at Excel Academy Public Charter School in Prince George's County, Maryland.  I play the violin and trumpet in the school's orchestra and band.  I belong to Galilee Baptist Church where I participate in the dance and theatre ministries.   I am an advocate for children's charities, wounded warriors, the homeless, breast cancer and heart disease awareness.  For over three years, I have served meals to homeless citizens through the Sunday Suppers organization, participated in Jump rope for Heart, the Susan B. Komen Global Race for the Cure, and was the 1st place Walk for Education fundraiser for a Walk for Education.   

Through this program and your support, I will continue to succeed and continue to help others!  Thank you!

I am asking for your support to help me achieve my goal. There are several ways to support and help me reach my goal.

1.     You can purchase advertising space or be listed as a Patron in the Souvenir Program Booklet for the Jabberwock Cotillion. Prices range from $500 for back cover to $150 for a full page to $50 for a 1/4 page or $25 for a business card 

2.   $25+ Platinum level sponsorship

3.    Purchase a ticket(s) to the formal Cotillion gala to be held on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Washington, DC. ($70)
