Madusanka Needs Your Help

Hi, my name is Seth. I'm a secondary math teacher from the USA working abroad. I met Madusanka during a trip with my wife (then girlfriend) to his beautiful country of Sri Lanka in 2015. He was our driver, guide, tour planner, hotel booker, etc. during our entire two week stay, so we spent a lot of time together! He was a big part of the reason that, still to this day, we have found that trip to be our favorite, and why we have kept in touch on facebook periodically over the years.

Madusanka is a driven, hardworking, and caring family man with a wife, young daughter, and new baby about to be born. After hearing from him recently about how COVID and the lack of travel and tourism has impacted his ability to provide for his family, I immediately thought of gofundme as a possible way to help Madusanka and his family survive during this very challenging time. Once I've collected the funds here, I will send them via bank transfer and cover the fees for that myself.

I am doing this with his permission, however since he is a bit embarrassed to be in this situation, he has asked that I not post a photo of him or his family on here.
