The Mitchell's Home Emergency

Donation protected
I recently learned of an awful situation occurring with one of my best friends and my heart is broken for her and her husband, their two little baby girls ages 1 & 2, as well as their two 12 year old children. After months of the entire family being in and out of doctor offices and specialists with symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, ear infections, severe headaches, upper respiratory infections, sinus problems, foggy headedness that she describes as feeling drunk or impaired with reasons unknown, they have found out that they have black mold that has festered throughout the house and all through the duct and ventilation system. To make matters even worse, the baby girls have suffered developmental delays that have required physical therapy as a result from breathing in the mold long-term. As you can imagine both parents are extremely heartbrokenm, especially knowing that they have been unknowingly laying their babies down at night with the mold from the vents blowing on them while they slept. The guilt they feel is undescribable. The Mitchell's have had to leave their home immediately with no place to go, and sometimes are forced to return to sleep at night even though it is affecting their health. They are financially unable to cover the amount needed to complete repairs so they can go home and return to a healthy state. Homeowners insurance is refusing to cover the repairs needed. It has left this family in such a perilous situation. This family did not want to ask for financial help so I am requesting this for them. If you do not know the Mitchell's, Mike Mitchell, selflessly sacrifices his life each day as a sheriff’s deputy protecting our community. It’s imperative that he be well and alert out on the road, not only to protect the citizens but to come home each and every day to his family. His wife, my friend, has also volunteered her time holding fundraisers in the community for the families of fallen officers whom they consider brothers and sisters within the law enforcement family. I feel it’s our turn to give back now and help support this family. If you're unable to donate financially, this family could benefit from donations of time, equipment, and experience to help remove the mold and repair their home. They will also be in need of some furnishings as some of these items had to be discarded of. If nothing else, please keep them and their sweet babies in your prayers. It is so appreciated and they thank you in advance for your kindness. They can't do this on their own and need any help they can get.
