Melissa-Jayne 2022 medical updates 

- new bad nodes detected - 9 cancer nodes . 
treatment is exactly the same as 2021. 
(All hormone - her-2 - diet does not trigger this ) 
it’s bad luck  


MJ has no direct parent/ family support
-  mum passed with a Brain tumour &
dad still surviving from a life long spinal
tumour and other issues. He is safely set up in Yass with medical support 24/7.

life gets real , I miss djing / painting/ creating, booking nights  and being part of something that hits the heart strings & the community. 

Fingers crossed the universe shines a light my way.

MJ has new medical appointments & the set goals are not doing according to plan.

On December 17 at approx. 2:30 pm I was having to stop everything after a doctors appointment and get a test for Cancer. 
That same day I had scans and then the results were fast tracked. 

At about 4:45pm the dr confirmed it was Cancer
My first question was 'is it terminal' - the dr had no idea, obviously need to test the tissue samples

Referred to the Peter Mac Cancer clinic.

About a week and half later I was seen by David Speakman and started the process.

Medical Notes Dec 2020


- Found a Firm irregular mass 3.7cm solid hypoechoic mass at 12 o'clock - causing distortion.

Excessive Pain

Bleeding and Swelling

Infection

Nausea  

Sweats

Chest pain 

Stage 3 / 4


-First surgery was 6th Jan 
--Second surgery was 7th Jan  with David Speakman - at Peter Mac Cancer Clinic

For many people with breast cancer, the financial costs associated with treatment and care can be substantial. General day-to-day expenses continue, while you may also have to pay for specialist appointments, tests and scans, medicines and other treatments, counselling, travel and so on.

If you're unable to continue in paid work, the loss of income can also contribute to financial pressure on you and your family. Even when treatment is finished, you may still struggle financially, or you may face the longer-term impacts of ongoing care after breast cancer.

For some people, getting by financially is no easy task, even at the best of times. Although finances may seem trivial in comparison to your breast cancer diagnosis, money worries can have a big impact on how you and your family cope.

Serious new - instead of one bad lymph nodes, i had 9 bad ones. A PET scan is being arranged and Chemo and radiation.
