Cystotomy Surgery for Miss Waffles
Donation protected
Our beautiful lil girl, Miss Waffles, who turned four years old in February has had a very rough start in life. She’s already gone through so much suffering with bleeding, severe pain, and hurting by her wound making it extremely difficult to urinate
She recently had a setback... her bladder is filled with gravel-like stones and cutting crystals. She is one tough little girl! Her strength amazes me. She ate some hand-fed Royal Canin Urinary SO Loaf. All while whimpering after bleeding and in pain.
Miss Waffles cries when being held in a certain position and pee’s all over me constantly, she’s suffering, needing pain medicine that’s not due for several hours.
She can’t really walk and has to wear a cone. She fights the cone, which is heartbreaking watching it get caught on the floor and jarring her. Shes’s so short the cone gets caught on the floor.
She likes to be held like my little baby, but she’s suffering, extremely hunched over straining with blood, crying and in tears all just to pee, just like you and me.
She can’t really walk more than a few feet. She’s not able to drink, eat, kiss and clean herself with her cone on her head. On 10/12/20 this last Tuesday, Miss Waffles had a very serious operation , a cystotomy .
Unfortunately, there’s a longer than usual incision needed when opening her up then pulling the bladder outside the body cutting performing the cystotomy.
Hopefully her stones and crystals are all flushed-cleaned and taken away the risk of a stone getting caught in her urethra.
