First mission trip to Zimbabwe

Hi! My name is Erika Carr and I am excited to announce I am going on my first mission trip! I am going to Zimbabwe December 5th-13th! This is an amazing opportunity that God has given me. I am so humbled by Gods goodness. I’ve had a heart for missions since I was a little girl. I am now 32 with a family of my own and it’s so incredible to see how faithful God is.
I will be going with Young Life ministries to help pour into leaders at a leadership conference in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. I have a heart to encourage others and lead lost souls to Jesus Christ. I feel privileged to live in the United States and with that I feel a responsibility to reach other nations to share and spread the love of Christ. I am reaching out to ask for prayers! I pray that God touches the hearts of those we will minister to and to open the hearts and minds of the people. I pray for strength, stamina and safety on this journey. I ask that God gives specific, timely words for those we will pour into on this trip. I pray that God will even open more doors while we are there to win more souls to Christ and to impact that city and country in a powerful way like only he can! I am believing in healings for those we encounter who need a touch from God, he is a healer! Lastly, I pray that God meets all the needs financially for this trip and the people we will be helping! I ask that you agree and pray with me and for our team. I will keep everyone updated as we depart, while we are there and after our return. I am believing this is the first of many more trips. I am open to whatever God has for me to do!
We are going to minister to others and help in the community but I believe this will be an incredible learning experience for our Young Life team. I look forward to coming back with a bigger heart for people of this world and for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am a member of World Harvest Church in Roswell, GA and have the opportunity to hear from many friends about how missions have changed their lives. My church goes on over 30 trips a year! I plan to join them this upcoming year to wherever God calls me!
My goal is to raise at least $3000 to make it all possible. Your donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated. This is an opportunity to be a part of what is going on around the world! I thank you in advance for your support!
