Over Thanksgiving weekend, MINT was the unfortunate victim of a series of robberies that has rendered the space temporarily unusable. We are disappointed to announce that as a result our events and the gallery have been postponed through the remainder of this year.
The thefts affected a large amount of the equipment and the items we rely on to facilitate the operations of MINT. We are making a call for community support to help get us back up and running so that we may continue offering the arts and entertainment you all have so graciously supported since we started.
Your contribution will help us: fully secure the space, install ample lighting on the exterior, repaint and refresh the gallery and studio spaces, and replace stolen equipment.
Additionally, all are welcome to attend our MINT REFRESH: Benefit on Friday, December 19. This will include a silent auction of artwork, patch-making station, and music performance.

MINT is a collaborative, interdisciplinary space founded and operated by artists located in a warehouse in Merion Village, Columbus, Ohio. We are a community of 14 members and consistently growing. Our mission is to establish a safe, communal space for artists of all types to create work, recognizing that many may lack space, resources, or a community with which to interact. Through our commitment to common studio space, MINT cultivates encouragement and support, something that we find the individual, compartmental studio space lacks. Additionally, by prioritizing collaboration, MINT engages with its surrounding community of Merion Village, a historically low-income neighborhood that lacks sufficient infrastructure for emerging artists. At the same time, MINT exhibits work by national and international artists, introducing our audiences to global perspectives.
