Help Us Save Our SLO Neighborhoods

Donation protected
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, largest landowner of all the CSUs, plans to plant a huge multistory freshman dormitory  ( the size of SIX Walmarts ) directly across a narrow residential street, an elementary school and the Classical Academy for high schoolers. By proposing to place 1500 18 year old Freshmen into an already highly impacted neighborhood, Cal Poly violates CEQA law, as well as their frequently repeated " good neighbor policy". These are older neighborhoods of families who have lived here for 50-60 years. We are mostly retired, past Poly professors, coaches, plumbers, nurses, architects, from all walks of life.  CEQA  is the California Environmental Quality Act that Cal Poly violates by non compliance of negative impacts on traffic, noise, aesthetics & quality of life for the residents. We formed an association and have filed suit in order to prompt the CSU Board of Trustees to comply with state law. This is David and Goliath.

Please help us fight this bad, destructive project.
