UPDATE 6/25/14 Hate having to return to gofund me to ask for help, thought I had made it to the point I could stop! But I have found myself in a position where I just couldn't stretch finances far enough to get to Bristol pay the mortgage pay all the fees have enough money for gas and food ....so I'm making a plea for help from my Facebook friends to please share this for me ! I appreciate everyone that has jumped in and helped so far and I wish I didn't have to come back here again to do it! But am grateful for tis site and the blessings it can bring and has brought already !
As anyone can guess asking for help is very hard.....
I am a Kaleidoscope maker and Stained Glass Artist and have earned my living by traveling the country and doing art shows and Renaissance Festivals since 1976.
About 4 years ago I found my left leg would collapse under my wieght....At that time was fighting a downturn in the economy and trying to keep from losing my home (Thanks to taking Bank Of America's advise).............Finally by the Grace of God recieved a modification in 2012 and was able to save my home by working hard, being diligent and going into denial about why my leg and hip were getting worse...By the end of 2013, I was unable to fool myself any longer and went to see a surgeon, who informed me I needed a total hip replacement and my recovery time would be 3 to 6 months. Thus on March 3, 2014 I did undergo a succesful total hip replacement procedure. Now, however,unable to work, I find myself back in a tenuous and dire economic predicament: not only is my home in jeopardy again and regular monthly bills are accumulating, I am also facing huge medical and ongoing out patient physical therapy billls.
Any and all help would be appreciated and I will again pay it forward to others, when I return to my shows and sharing my love of glass.
