Meet Judely ... She needs our help!

Meet Judely ... She needs our help!

Judely immigrated to the United States from Nicaragua with her father last school year and began studying at Menlo-Atherton when she was 16 years old. She immediately dedicated herself to learning English, became involved in the school community, worked hard to earn good grades, and formed lasting bonds with her new teachers and friends. Unfortunately, when school closed for COVID, Judely collapsed while at work and found out that she had Cancer. She was hospitalized and it was discovered that she has stage 4 cancer in the liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, pancreas and lungs.

When she was diagnosed, Judely's only wish was that her mother in Nicaragua could come to be by her side. Her mother obtained a humanitarian visa and when she arrived, and they met again at the hospital, it was her best Christmas gift. Judely's parents, Bismarck and Maribel, have stayed with her in the hospital as she continues to fight this disease and have given her all of their support, love and comfort.

If her optimism, strength, humor and love could heal her, Judely would be 100% healthy by now, but after two operations and 6 chemotherapies Lucille Packard gave the devastating news that her cancer is terminal.

Judely and her parents need help paying for hospital costs, plane tickets back to Nicaragua and the hospice care she will need in her native country. Please consider supporting this M-A student and her loved ones during this difficult time. Your support will be greatly appreciated!

Conoce a Judely ...
