Help Create Lyriqs New album

For those that know me, creating music is a passion of mine. It’s my voice, my therapy, and my escape from the craziness in the world. This passion of mine started me out as a DJ, which then developed into my producing and eventually me as an artist. Through the creativity of my music, for over 15 years, I’ve been telling not only my story & experiences, but the stories of others. 
I have had the amazing privilege of creating three solo albums (Life & Other Things, Perfect Imperfections, Opus) and one group album (Abstract Nothing). Operating solely as an independent artist, means that everything from producing to engineering to marketing rests entirely on my shoulders. With very limited resources, I was able to produce bodies of work that I am very proud of to this day. I have been met with so many obstacles through this process from those telling me that I shouldn’t create - to not being able to put out the projects the way I want, due to financial constraints. Despite those obstacles I want to continue to give those that support me the very best that I can and humbly I realize that I can’t do that without YOU.
The Vision
This new album which is called “Sounds Of A Introvert” is my most creative and diverse project yet. True to my Hip-Hop roots, we make music without limits. This new album will incorporate elements of Jazz, Funk, Rock, and anything else I am feeling in the moment. With the help of some of my fellow artists and close friends - Black Los, Jeremy Raphael and a few others, we realize music is the influence of sounds, sounds in all vibrations and sizes, telling a story or pointing a direction. My goal is to give my listeners a sound that is refreshing, nostalgic and current without sounding like everything else currently being played today. This can be heard in the first single from the new album which is called “Peripheral” and you can currently listen to it here www.lyriqs.net
With 80% of the album completed, I’m crowdfunding this project to help pay for album artwork, marketing, and everything else. Your support will keep me in the studio, and will help me get additional production work done; help with a video production, and will help me design, package, market, and distribute the album. The whole thing. We literally cannot do it without you. I need your help to keep my vision alive.
These days, with more music being released than ever, the hardest part about putting a new record out is getting people to listen to it. I originally envisioned this as a more low-key (and less expensive) project just for my fans; however, as I got deeper into the record, I realized that this was something that deserved more. It deserves to be presented the very best way possible. This also serves as a potentially powerful introduction to new groups of people who aren't yet familiar with my music. In order for “Sounds Of An Introvert” to be heard, I need the right marketing behind it.
